Yanyan Yip, Civic Exchange

As a non-profit public policy think tank in Hong Kong, Civic Exchange has conducted policy research in areas related to the environment, such as air pollution and public health, climate change, energy, urban planning, water, nature conservation and sustainable development.

Civic Exchange hopes to promote civic education amongst members of the society through conducting research and publicising the results in order to provide objective and balanced information to the public.  It is also hoped that the research results can help shape the breadth and depth of public policy debates in Hong Kong.

Other than conducting research, Civic Exchange also emphasises on stakeholder engagement.  Many of its projects also take into the account such “engagement” element to provide a platform for stakeholders to exchange of views and ideas.
