Lucien Gambarota, Motorwind, a division of MOTORWAVEGROUP
Motorwind, a division of MOTORWAVEGROUP, specialises in micro wind turbines to produce electricity and energy, in general, to pump water, or refrigerate. The technology is unique, and 100% is originating from Hong Kong. The inventor is a French-born engineer Lucien Gambarota. Motorwind turbines are presently exported in 30 countries for home installation. In Hong Kong, the wind turbines are primarily set up in schools, 15 so far, for educational purposes. Lucien also developed the California Fitness concept of harvesting human energy during work out.
Motorwind microturbines can work in wind speeds of only 1m/second. Their lightweight, small size, and flexible configuration allow them to be installed in both urban and rural environments, for individual or corporate use. Motorwind turbines give users a new option for efficient renewable energy and therefore reducing their impact on the environment.
Lucien believes that simple technologies which can be used to harness the energy of wind and wave can become widely used the world over on increasingly larger scales. One way in which he hopes this can happen is that the production facilities developed here in HK can be exported to many countries.
Given that he had access to the necessary production facilities and also technical assistance and resources, Lucien was moved to take action. He felt it was time for him to put something back into society, using his experience and skills.
Lucien has strong business and engineering skills combined with extreme curiosity. He became interested in renewable energy late 2004 and has since registered several patents.
Lucien, the inventor of the Motorwave, is currently based in Hong Kong where he carries on his work on the Motorwave and other renewable energy projects!
