Lisa is the sole Asia agent of this USA based company. The products are natural, and the company is working towards full organic certification and has almost completed the process of converting to recyclable bottles. There are no boxes, inserts or catalogues.
The products already have high concentrations of organic ingredients, are produced with integrity and delivered to the client in packaging that it is shipped in.
The company is currently supplying to Singapore and moving into the Hong Kong market.
The skincare is formulated to match the molecular structure of the skin, i.e. is chirally correct, and certain products include caged zeolite (which binds toxins and draws them out of the skin) which is good for fighting pollution.
The founder of the company, Gale Roberts, is working towards organic certification. In the past two years, the Hong Kong and Singapore companies have been set up.
Lisa and the team exhibited the skincare range at Cosmoprof, the region’s largest spa, wellbeing and skincare products exhibition at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre in November 2008.
In the long term, she hopes to have the product available Asia-wide. She wants to increase public awareness of natural products, and encourage movement away from non-organic products. She feels there is a lot of room for growth in Asia.
Shipping does add to environmental problems although Lisa is keenly aware of the issues and is looking for solutions.
