What is your job about?
We run a PR and marketing. We work in the area of green businesses and low carbon industries. As master practitioners of the guerrilla style, we are passionate about delivering well planned, dynamic and artful PR and media strategic plans and tactics that give you more bang for your buck. We work with clients and on projects that we are excited by and believe in. The majority of our work is in the low carbon, green business sector which is a vibrant market place of growth for goods and services. But we do venture outside to work with start-ups and new ventures because we like them. We love people and nature. The purpose is to develop philanthropy so that we can contribute to a bigger effort. We like to connect concepts to practical business or ideas. We have to collectively come together.
What issues do you address?
We want to be sustainable as a sector and resilient as a business. We want to grow in a positive way-guerrilla style.
What moved you to take action?
I have always been inspired by nature, since I was little. I did an environmental science degree. Then I knew I could communicate about ‘My Natural Home.
What were the obstacles that you had to overcome?
Not obstacles really….it is tough getting things going. There is no old boy network for women.
What helped you keep going in hard times?
I cant see another way of being, I think constantly about my children futures and I feel very strongly about that. When the times get tough no matter what is happening I remember that the sun will rise, birds will sing and the world will go on. I always try to notice the beauty around me.
What first prompted you to become interested in environmental issues and when was that?
I have always been interested. I grew up in the countryside and always loved nature.
